“You’ve…changed.” Rose seemed to not know what to say, stunned by his difference. Her hand seemed to tighten onto her Doctor’s.
“Changed?! More like grew! All long arms and legs and blimey, look at that chin!” Her Doctor surveyed his Time Lord counterpart critically, and for a moment the Doctor thought he would grab onto his chin and inspect him like a real Doctor. Well, not like wasn’t actually a Doctor…
“So…I see he’s still the same as ever. Rude and…not ginger.” The Doctor shifted a little awkwardly on the balls of his feet.
Eleven meets Rose & Tentoo.
Rose threw her head back in laughter.
“Doctor, you aren’t actually eating that are you?”The Doctor dipped his fish finger into some custard.
“Yes I can” he said taking a bite, “its quite good.”“Whatever happened to eating chips, like on our first date?” She giggled.
He shrugged.
“New mouth, new rules.”They smiled at each other.

“Come away with me” he said.
“I’ve been there before” Rose responded, “I don’t think I could do that only to be left by you again.”“No. Never.” He said, inching his way towards the TARDIS. “I lost you once, I won’t let it happen again.”
Rose sighed.
“I’d like that.”“Trust me,” the Doctor said, “I’ve changed.”
Rose looked at him and smiled.
“You have.” She said, “Now you wear this silly thing.” Pulling at the bow tie.”“Hey” he said. “It’s a bow tie, I wear a bow tie now—”
“It’s cool.” Rose cut him off, laughing.

“Well thats about as good as its gonna get” Rose said to herself.
She smoothed out her veil, wondering if she was making the right choice.“You look beautiful” a familiar voice said from behind her.
She turned around. “I wasn’t expecting to see you Doctor”
He smiled faintly.“Why? Because you didn’t invite me?”
“You aren’t accountable. You show up where you want and when you want.” She said angrily. “You aren’t there when I need you. I’m done waiting for you.”
“Thats why you didn’t invite me?” He asked amused.
“Yes thats exactly why” she snapped at him.
“No,” he said. “Its because you never invite the one who’ll object.”She froze.
“I am here when you need most.” He said turning to leave.
“And I’ll be waiting by the TARDIS.”
